Chalet WALT – Contemporary living on Dorfstrasse

With the Chalet WALT, a modern residential property has been created in a central location in Grindelwald - directly on Dorfstrasse, just a few steps below the Chalet GRINTIL. The project combines high-quality first homes and holiday apartments with an alpine character and optimal connections to village life and public transport.

Construction began in 2023 and was completed in 2024. The building blends harmoniously into the surrounding area and creates attractive living space in the heart of Grindelwald - for locals as well as second home owners.

The facade is in a slightly lighter wood tone than the neighboring Chalet GRINTIL and gives the Chalet WALT a modern, friendly appearance. The interior is dominated by clear lines and high-quality materials: the design of the corridors and the staircase is in white and anthracite. Details such as door frames and fittings are consistently finished in anthracite and ensure an elegant, timeless appearance.

GRIWA DEVELOPMENT implemented the project as a general and total contractor - from planning to turnkey handover. With the Chalet WALT, another reference property was created that combines quality, style and functionality - right in the center of Grindelwald.
